Furthermore, I've read a few posts already by people stating they have played games with this implemented and highly disliked it. I just can't think why you'd want this.
If you read my original post, the main reason is so that we only have to think about one time scale instead of two. Then players and the game don't have to distinguish between the two and it's never ambiguous or unclear which one you're talking about. You have no idea how often on various XI forums and linkshell conversations where it's been an issue and I've had to ask "do you mean the next game day, or next real life day?"

But apparently I'm the only one who's ever had this frustration. That's fine. I figured that this bugged a lot of people, but apparently I was wrong.
