People generally don't care what time they log on as long as events and in-game happenings are consistent. I also don't think anyone has ever felt bad about logging in past sunset in any of the MMOs I've played.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
But here's the thing: People shouldn't have to miss out on seeing daytime in an mmo because they can only play at night, nor miss out on seeing nighttime in an mmo because they can only play a few hours during the day. I know, I know, some of you "don't mind", but others may want to see what the world looks like in the daytime as well as the nighttime, and not be restricted to seeing only one specific time of the day in their mmo. I'm sorry, but the OP's suggestion is just not a very good one.
