The special item you got with the standard edition of FFXIV 1.0.

Now will these make a comeback with the release of 2.0?

If they do make a comeback and I buy the reg ps3 copy and attach it to my account
will my characters that I already have made be able to pick up a pair of the goggles from a special npc ^_-?

If anyone has heard anything on this let us all know!

Any previous account and the items it has had, will have them regardless of which version of the game you log in. THe PS3 version is not a different version from the PC version, just a differet system you play on.

As far as a release and any new items offered, they would be linked to your existing account if you register the ps3 version on that account

But would you get them on pre made characters. I am thinking no.

If you didn't have the item before, unless SE will offer it free for every download version of ARR like before and you buy it, you like won't get it. Now if they do offer new items at release of ARR then they likely will let us have the ability to receive it in the game or else there would be little sense in giving us the item.

Unless they change the system you probably won't get it on pre existing characters.

At least at launch you had to regester the game, then any promotional codes (Onion helm, Garlond Goggles, Asuran armguards) before you made a character or you wouldn't have them.

That is what I am hoping. I may just pass on buying a copy of arr for ps3 if we cant get the item on characters already made.
I have the armbands and ce items alread. I just like the look of the goggles. Can they make it where we do show helm off. And goggles on head /on ^^
