Personal Ships in ARR?

It would be very cool to have personal ships to cross the sea in ARR.

Remember the old world map? It had so many isles.. would be very nice to explore them don't you think ?

.. how i wish ARR was for PC only (it could be a sandbox, or an hybrid at least, and not a pure themepark..).. it looks already graphically "older" than the new mmo's coming for pc only.. Archage is just an example..

Another perfect example could be Zelda Wind Waker... (Archage video, reminds zelda ww a lot! imho)

airships like that only make sense if they are super hard to get and take several people to run, that way there are only a few in the sky. Everybody with their own super easy airship to get would be silly IMO.

Think about it sort of like the new housing system.. its going to be really hard to get even the smallest house. But make airships even harder to get.

I hope that in the near future game graphic/physics could improve despite of PS3 limitations.

Why spend so many efforts on PS3 version, when in 2013 everyone who has a PS3 has a PC too?!

Because the persons PC is not good enough to run it. Or could be someone would rather play on PS3 then on PC.

Imagine if;

Instead of buying a Large size house in the player housing instance, you could buy an airship in the instance. Decorate the inside same as a house, have a stable and so on... instead of a house.

Maybe it would fly a pre-determined path above the other housing in the instance.

Of course it could never leave the housing instance, for balance purposes... but buying one instead of a house would be cool imo.

Large House
Airship

All functionally identical, but then we could own one!

Maybe in the future, if you owned an airship, you could do something with it... use it instead of one in the world or something.
