Ul'dah and Limsa are both really bad in talk like that. I can't recall it as heavy in Grid tho, one of the R20 guild quests might have had something. Otherwise we're all just tree hugging hippies over here.
I like how we finally have a game like this that actually has dialogue that isn't all goody two-shoes, like the whole world is full of angels who have nothing foul to say.
At least the dialogue in this game breathes life into their characters with different personalities, good and bad, rather than just give them big spikey or dark armor and have the player by default assume it's a bad guy, like every other god damn game out there.
Edit: Now I'm more inspired to level MRD more.
To be honest, I found it refreshing. I'm no hardcore MMO player, but I've tried my share of games, and there's not been much of the subtle/unsubtle dialog that FFXIV has.

I hardly ever read the story behind leves but this Goldsmithing leve story caught my eye:
The piercing of various “sensitive” locations on the body has become popular amongst the consortiers and courtesans employed at Ul'dah's many pillowhouses. As a result, Eshtaime's Aesthetics stock of earrings has dried up, forcing the guild to seek eager goldsmiths willing to create them more. All interested are to visit Baron Roarich of Ashgana's Exports to receive the necessary materials.
Haha yes, that cought my eye too.
I love the dialogue in this game. One of the best things about it!
All this dirty talk, and they still wont let us take our underwear off.
FOR SHAME!
Uldah has prostitutes, prostitutes everywhere!
That explains why gridania and Limsa are both so empty. :P everyones being a hoe in ul'dah
