I'm pretty sure there was blood in the "Calamity Cometh" quest where your character would use the echo to see who stabbed Niellefresnel.

Let's just have killing mobs look like this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctXJkwWz7bk I kid, I kid, but rending mobs into chunks was always the best part of that game.
More like Ninja Assassin blood bath XD! j/k but i wouldn't mind if mobs show in a way you are cutting them downLet's just have killing mobs look like this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctXJkwWz7bk I kid, I kid, but rending mobs into chunks was always the best part of that game.

It's likely they mistook an effect for gore. Happens more often than it should.

FF has never been a particularly bloody game. I think FF8's opening scene had more blood than most of the series combined.
It's not even a realistic game. No need to put realistic blood/gore/dismemberment/penises/etc in it.

Well, Dragon Age series have a lot of blood being sprayed around, although I would still prefer FF to remain a largely blood and gore-free game...

I would - love - to see a SE Final Fantasy graphic style game made for adults, gore and all... Would be amazing! lol
Although, I dont think it would be good to add it to the numbered Fantasys - just influence from :P
But as Alhanelem said, if it happens once, anywhere, then it happened for the rating. Its important (ESRB) for parents who dont know crap about video games lol (Or at least the ones their kids are playing :P)

id rather a child play a T-Rated game then let them watch some of these PG13 films that come out, the ESRB is a hindrance to game developers and its in serous need of revision. if a boob pops out out in a film its all lolololol, but if it happens in a game people go ape crap retarded and gets an A/O rating and never sees the light of day.I would - love - to see a SE Final Fantasy graphic style game made for adults, gore and all... Nothing says immersion like hitting a mob over the head with a sharp instrument and notice their brains are made of sparks.
I welcome blood in this game and any other, theres a simple 'parental control' tab on most games nowadays anyway.
