Question related to membership tiers

I was just reviewing the membership tiers page and wanted to reconfirm somethings. So the cost of 1 character in 8 servers is $12.99 (8 characters total) but the cost of having 8 characters in 5 servers (or whatever combination) is $14.99 (40 character total)... So they are getting rid of the $2.00 extra a month?

FINAL FANTASY XIV Legacy Campaign

Information has been released since the announcement of the legacy campaign.

It appears that they are abolishing the $2.00 per extra character. I see this as a good thing, as I will probably be playing with friends on another server since I won't be paying for the extra service that I would hardly use except to chat up with them.

Yes 12.99 for 1 char for only 8 per world it's good enough for players who just want one char and maybe more on other worlds. The other is 14.99 with 8 char per world for a max of 40 good for players who like to role play or need mules or just level up other char to have them max level.

Legacy get the highest Tier for a low price of 9.99$ which is awesome of them for doing. So ya you can pay 14.99 the normal price for any MMO for more char if you want or low price of 12.99 for just one per world for a max of 12.99 in my opinion i would just get the 12.99$ not if you want a mule to put junk in and stuff but for that i would just buy other account it's sucks logging in and out to send stuff to a mule and back,.
