The Lodestone after November 1st.


After November 1, 2012, the Lodestone will no longer reflect updated character data; however, after everything is transferred over to the A Realm Reborn Lodestone, you will be able to log into the current version of Lodestone and use features such as the player blog for a period of time. After this time, it will no longer be possible to log into the current Lodestone and you'll only be able to browse the archives.

Other things to note:
  • Currently no plans to change the URL for LS forums or archived journals
  • Images in the file manager will carry over, but we are currently looking into how to carry over the data.
  • Comments made on Journal entries will remain
  • Overview of the characters that "Liked" your blog entries will remain
  • You won't be able to make new comments on and "Like" archived entries



A few more updates about Lodestone to share with you guys!
  • Since data will not be saved after the final maintenance on 11/1, even deleted characters will not be reflected on the current Lodestone after that time.
  • When it is no longer possible to log into Lodestone, it will also no longer be possible to edit or delete your page.
  • The authority settings for LS forums will remain as they are from the final data maintenance. With that said, any new members added after ARR begins will only be able to view public threads.


I know the Lodestone doesn't just mean the forums but I'm sure that they're related to a certain degree here.
