    Animation lock itself didn't bug me, it was the lag on top of the animation lock that drove me mad.

    If I perform an action to cancel casting a spell and gtfo in my frame of reference, I want it to work.
    I don't want to be told:
    "Sorry, but because the server thinks you have already casted that spell, we're going to stop you being able to run away now and make you do the animation, even though the server thinks it was done before you wanted to gtfo. This will make it so you can't gtfo, even though the server thinks you should be able to. Sucks to be you."

    The server needs to be able to make up it's mind: animation lock OR terrible lag. I can let them get away with just one.
