    If you have a low power video card or V-SYNC/Triple Buffer ON you will not have tearing. When your frame rate exceeds the refresh rate of your monitor you will get tearing.

    haha I'm thinking of getting that as well, waiting for the 971 which i think will be a matte screen instead of the glossy from the 970.
    Also waiting to upgrade my video card but it seems the 700/8000 series aren't coming out anytime soon......... it's been a year plus!
