    I'm pretty sure people are right when they say that dark dude on the horse was Odin but a few doubts cross my mind. Odin's horse had 6 legs in every other incarnation, Usually portrayed in white armor (and white horse), no other primals were shown during the last part, Could be a Garlean? The only thing's that make me think it is Odin is this is the first Horse mounted badguy(?), and the silhouette with the moon.

    Well Odin besides only showing up for me in FF8 on crawlers when i was farming curaga!

    Is also possibility the force inside the wood of Grid that stopped the earlier advance of the Garleans. But I think that note is another one up for rewrite but him appearing in such a dense forest in the Opening cut might be a sign.

    edit: okay all seriousness now. Odin will most likely be an elder primal uncontrollable to anyone. No doubt he will have the ability "Zentetsuken" to instant kill.
