Scared about ARR

I wish this was the case. But many people in 11 are highly critical of 14 ONLY WITH INITIAL RELEASE INFORMATION. Many people I've spoken to are incredibly closed minded, judging the game on the leveling system and crafting systems that have long since been changed. They are also under the assumption that, even after all the changes we say, 14 still tanked horribly just because the 1.0 servers went down. Me and one of my friends have tried to talk some sense into people like this, it's almost pointless and we just get written off as "fan boys."

People outside of FFXI are just as ignorant/misinformed(which of the 2 categories they fall under varies per individual) about it. I had some dude trying to argue with me telling me that ff14 failed and that ARR and FF14 had nothing to do with each other. He constantly referenced the 2010 review as a defense for how he thought game STILL was when the final save took place, despite having never played the game once. Some people are just way too close minded and there's really nothing you can do besides laugh at them and leave them to their COD/LOL .
