Well guys, lets take some time, while waiting to observe old concept art very closely.
here is a good link to watch all these old and early concept arts from the old roadmap which has been released in 2011 in a very big size and good quality:
First Concept Arts Part 1
Concept Arts Part 2
For example i just recognized that you actually can see on the concept art, that warriors will be able to shut the visor of their helmets (like in the cgi), WHMs are going to be able to lift their hoods, and dragoons seem to able to lift up the visor as well (sorry if that is already known).
The Question is if these options are finally going to make it into ARR (but well at least we saw it in the new cgi) :
(on the top at the middle -> the helmet with visor opened)
(on the right side on the bottom -> hood is up)
(cat ears visible while wearing blm hat. elvaan ears -> still hidden)
This building
seems to be located on a small island in Noscea:
Seems like you are going to reach it by a ship/fairy (the blue dots)
The Sahagin, the tribe of leviathan(?) finally are going to be implemented in ARR:
the structure that we saw in the end of the trailer
located in the south of coerthas?
before 1.0.
after 2.0. ?
a scene which we finally saw in the opening cgi now.
have you recognized anything else? similarities... artworks you look back again and say "ah ok that it is"
also quiet interesting.. old informations about ARR:
Features of ARR (Infos from october 2011)
some informations i think that got lost till today:
- Implementation of the wandering Odin primal. He will grow in strength and drop better loot every time he’s defeated.
- Campaign of battles to defend Ishgard against an horde of dragons, with the participation of all four disciplines (wait a second as I wipe the drool off my mouth here…).
- Introduction of legacy Final Fantasy items (Excalibur and Masamune anyone?), those items will have unique graphics and stats.
still do not forget these informations are from 2011, many things can be changed or canceled till then. as for concept arts or region maps.
greetings
