    Hoping an API will become available for ARR

    I do a lot of web dev and app development and have been getting excited about the idea of building something related to FFXIV:ARR but would really need an API to make something both cool and of value.

    Is anything going to be made available?

    Would love to see APIs for the following:
    - Characters
    - Gear
    - Auction House / Retainer
    - Mail
    - Achievements
    - Item Pricing
    - Statistics

    Anything that I'm missing?

    All the current libraries are based on screen-scraping, yuk.

    Suggestions by Mjollnir:
    - Live chat for Linkshells and Free Companies
    - Each city's /sh channel.
    - Notification of sale for items
