ARR Recommended Requirements?

Ok, anybody notice the recommended video requirements listed for beta testing?

NVIDIA® Geforce® GTX 5xx Series, AMD Radeon™ HD 7970

Seriously? 7970? Isnt that the fastest single GPU card AMD makes? 7970 VS a ti most Ti 5xx aren't a competitor to the 7970, so it may be that a Ti 550 could run this game great, however, the red team needs to step it up to a 7970?

I guess good thing it's supposed to be a good scalable engine...

Your current card will work just fine. I had a 5870 and upgraded to a gtx670 and was fine for 1.0, you can always wait for the benchmark.

I'm not trying to argue that the game will be playable with lesser cards using lesser graphical settings, I'm just pointing out the fact of the two recommended cards aren't in the same ballpark, or even close, especially in priceing.

The recommended requirements are usually a decent hardware guide to play the game how its meant to be played, and if this listing is correct and accurate, it will carry down to the lower end AMD cards, that are equall to, or argually better than the minimum geforce requirement, meaning that AMD cards may not fare nearly as well across the board. I am an AMD owner at this time. Guess we will see soon enough

I had to play almost minimum settings there.
Otherwise i guess i'll need a GPU upgrade. Cause i dont wanna play ARR in low settings.

Whoa I'm hoping that's a typo, recommending the top-of-the-line Radeon? Come on.. So I assume a 5870 won't play it at the highest settings now?

I agree this has to be a typo, either that or SE's test boxes don't use AMD cards and want to be safe.
