Gold/Yellow structure in new ARR Video...

Based on the notes next to the picture from the road map...perhaps our adventurers were just happy to be alive, but the smile came too far after re-appearing to think this was the cause...I think it has more to do with the adventurous nature of our heroes that made him smile, because guess what lies ahead in this new popped up structure?! Yup, ADVENTURE!

it has the same color like the aetheryte crystals which turned yellow/gold after Atomos absorbed their energy.
these "synthesized" aetherytes are still there in 2.0.:




i think that huge structure also has something to do with aether or it was just a big explosion which quickly turned into hard magma.. i have no idea ;XD

maybe its where Bahamut got imprisoned? Bahamuts Labyrinth?

@_@ but. . . . but. . . . We can already see the Crystal Tower in the new opening movie D: did you not watch? ._. It's in the background when Behemoth is shown :3

If I remember well, there was talk that the Dalamud getting near caused the Aethers to be "pulled out", as depicted on the artwork Tonkra posted, so perhaps this is an extreme of Aetherite being sucked out the most where Bahamut and Lousioux clashed. Still don't fully understand where Atomos fits in relation to Aetherites though. . . .

I'm willing to bet my subligar that Lousioux is in fact "trapped" there, in some shape and form. A quest line to reveal that, in fact, he's been either turned into Aetherite/and or trapped in Aether crystal :3 At this point, he's too much of a big deal never to appear again, if even as a ghost or an echo.

Yeah his body could be there and Odin could be his spirit sent forth into the world to find people to put his body and sould back together? I could see that

I was wondering about the labyrinth actually, I just imagined it to be more. . . . horizontal(?) o_O but who knows! Perhaps it's where Bahamut & Lousioux are just sleeping, all snuggled up to each other

As for the old odd looking structure in 1.0 Mor Dhona, curious to see if there's anything left of it in ARR. . . .

That doesn't explain why the party was happy to see it. It's like, he sees it and goes through 3 emotions: shocked at first, then happy because he smiles, and finally he has an almost "determined" look on his face. I dunno if I would be happy to see the spot where Dalamud/Bahamut went apenuts.

He could be shocked that what was once Mor Dhona is now green instead of that crystalline landscape it once had, and shows signs on healing, so he's happy about that but then he turned into Mr. Determined-man and heads off in that general direction. What's he's determined about is anybody's guess. Maybe they headed that way to look for survivors (5 years later I know), or maybe they're just curious and wanna head back there to see if the Garleans are still around.

He and the rest, could be expressing those emotions, because:

1. They were in stasis for 5 years.
2. They appear in the same spot they disappeared from, 5 years ago.
3. The land they knew looks different now.
4 They call their chocobos and set out to see what that land mass is all about.
or They are setting out to find the nearest town to catch up on current events.
5. They are adventurers....they have a new adventure set up right in front of them. They thought they had died, but now their back.....hence big smile on his face.

I would have a big smile on my face just because, I'm back and the everything looks different and new. Even his expression turned positive when his chocobo jumped.

I kinda think it's where Bahamut's megaflare hit, and the planet broke open there and spewed that stuff out. Maybe it has to do with why Bahamut's rampage stopped.

^This.. I think this as well. its just the origin point, of the huge Mega-flare ,nuke Bahamut put on us as we where being teleported to our stasis.
