Gold/Yellow structure in new ARR Video...

So I was watching the video again, and was intrigued by the structure they are running towards on chocobo.

The party seems thrilled to see this structure, but I honestly don't have any idea what it could be, and what they are so happy about.

Is it where Bahamut fell? Is it Dalamund's resting site?
It seems like it hit the ground hard, then instantly crystallized...
Or perhaps it is where something crashed so deep, that the raw "liquid" aether from the planet spewed out, and then instantly became hard.
The building certainly gives the notion of impact, or trajectory...

If this is one and the same... Could you imagine that huge sword that first fell out of Dalamud in the centre of it. And then the sword itself taken away?

Unlikely I guess. I still can't work out if it's trees or smoke.

It does look like perhaps something was ripped out...and the "key/sword" could explain it...to me it looks like rock, but it seems almost intelligent by design...interconnecting bridge-work, building around the wider parts, which might be habitable if fleshed out...the spiraling staircases not moving (speculation on them being stairs or bridges)

Maybe the dip in the middle is the location of the Gold... Saucer..?

Well if we are theory crafting i think one of the things we should take notice of is unlike other aethertye the earth is integrating into it almost absorbing it the exact opposite of Mor Dhona where it is a depletion of life instead of give root to it. So this could be Mor Dhona after a huge influx of aether. But as mentioned before the sword/key is gone but that might be due to the imprisoning summoning them back again which is why it looks like something was ripped out. This though doesn't explain why the one chained aethertye was also orange unless it is in this same area.

That doesn't explain why the party was happy to see it. It's like, he sees it and goes through 3 emotions: shocked at first, then happy because he smiles, and finally he has an almost "determined" look on his face. I dunno if I would be happy to see the spot where Dalamud/Bahamut went apenuts.

He could be shocked that what was once Mor Dhona is now green instead of that crystalline landscape it once had, and shows signs on healing, so he's happy about that but then he turned into Mr. Determined-man and heads off in that general direction. What's he's determined about is anybody's guess. Maybe they headed that way to look for survivors (5 years later I know), or maybe they're just curious and wanna head back there to see if the Garleans are still around.
