Yoshi please support linked account benifits

Hello there! I have wanted to bring this up for some time but haven't gotten around to it yet. Back in my days of XI, my husband and I were told it would benefit us both greatly to link our accounts via SE ID. So we agreed, linked up and have hated it ever since.. Issues we face are:

Though we both pay for both XI and XIV which equates to over $60/month were now considered "one person"

Every survey we can only put in one survey when we don't always agree on the same things

Only one of us gets test to alpha/betas

Every mog bonanza done via through the site only ONE of our accounts can participate(Thats a whole lot of husband/wife fighting when it comes down to relic contests)

Every contest we can only apply for once and one of us is always left out

Every forum post can only be done via linked thoughts, so my husbands feelings and posts are judged by my feelings and posts and we can only post as one character so all my posts change to his character if he tries to post as himself


Sure, one of us could buy a new copy, not link it and start there but whomever did so would loose multiple lv 50's rare/ex gear and we would still be stuck on FFXI special events and contests.

This is a lot of cons for someone linking their account to the advice of SE and I can't say I have seen any pros to this situation as of yet so please yoshi, please devs, please SE.. Allow us to un link SE ID or consider that there is a lot of couples out there with linked ID's(at your request) who face this problem all the time. Allow multiple accounts a second chance on contests, even if it was the same person with two accounts they are still paying for two accounts and should have the second chance for the money they spend.

The issue with this is how would you prove it?
I mean I could make an alt on my account and say its my spouse.
There is no way to prove or disprove the truth.

Its not a alt on a account, it's a separate account linked via SE ID therefore when you start the game your offered FFXIV acc 1 or FFXIV acc 2, so they know the difference.

Haha never got me anywhere in XI or here with that question :P
I got tired of arguing over this issue in XI and it's my hopes that maybe yoshi might hear something along these lines and will take this into consideration before XIV has contests and bonanzas. Can't blame a girl for trying

Well if we judge by EXP on FFXI, you're better off talking to a wall than Customer Service. So honestly, I'd have probably posted here as well.

TOS says accounts are non-transferable which means your screwed. should of payed that extra $50 or $60 when you started.

True, but this was a issue originally started back in FFXI, it's my hope to bring this up to maybe get things to run a bit differently in ARR

SE account the same thing once you add a key to it your stuck with that SE account
