I'm sorry for asking but I'm getting confused. What code are we using exactly? Is it the code that came on the registration card packaged with FFXIII or the code we receive for using that registration code?
Thanks in advance.

It is the one that came with the game... the one you used to redeem your members points...
When you bought Final Fantasy 13/Thirteen/XIII new, it came with a Card, behind the booklet, that just had a square enix members code on it. its just a little piece of paper by itself. it's that code. If you registered it on you SQUARE ENIX Members account, you still need to use it on the application.
I recall my husband tossing the little paper for the gengi bow and outfit like literally a week and a half ago, lol.. hope it wasn't on there><

Ah, but will facing north-by-northeast at 2:45 a.m. while the moon is a waning crescent result in a 27% increase in your chances to synthesize HQ mythril ingots!? That is real the question! ~Fernehalwes~
I can't remeber whether or not I ever applied to the PS3 Beta back then.. I assume I would have, but really can't remember, I started XIV during closed beta and after launch quickly forgot about the PS3 version. My question is, if we registered FF XIII on our SE members account, will that code still be in there? My XIII box only has the manual in it at this point so I guess I tossed that old slip of paper awhile back. Can you just get the code from within the system somewhere, assuming I registered it?When you bought Final Fantasy 13/Thirteen/XIII new, it came with a Card, behind the booklet, that just had a square enix members code on it. its just a little piece of paper by itself. it's that code. OK It's a little bit different for the EU. I didn't notice it till I just saw the GB post but EU users actually need to input the asura armguards code rather than the members code...

If only I had known I'd need it back then. I assume that I did what I did for all SE member codes. I entered it to register XIII and then threw it away because it was now useless. I should have applied for the PS3 beta since I was playing XI on my PS3, but I honestly don't remember ever doing so. If only I could go back in time and tell my younger self "don't throw out that code you fool!" (either that or somehow retrieve the code from the site).

I guess you can try to apply for the ps3 beta but you won't get priority... You should get into it by the time it becomes open beta...If only I had known I'd need it back then. Thanks for clearing that up. I wonder why they aren't asking for the code we received via email for using the registration code. When you bought Final Fantasy 13/Thirteen/XIII new, it came with a Card, behind the booklet, that just had a square enix members code on it. its just a little piece of paper by itself. it's that code.
