    What's wrong with this picture

What a lovely 7th January. It's probably the best 7th of January I've ever experienced! I do love my 7th of January.

A new intro, for me? Oh Enix, you shouldn't have!

Although I must say, what a novel idea it was to add some original content in there that we've not seen before. Original content is the bee's Tees or however that phrase goes...

The opening with the trees? Oh my Gosh! What a pretty set of trees!
I felt hydrated just looking at that image.

Wait a second, stop, stop stop.
Who's this punk with a blue flag?! Where's my Ul'Dah?!

I'm assuming they had a colour scheme change, eh?
That's a shame, I really looking forward to black and gold underwear from Mr. Flames
Oh well, nice to see Limsa's all okay! That kid bouncing about gave me flashbacks to that game with Meg Ryan and the 20-sided blue die.

    Love it

Thanks for the intro, Enix! I've gotta say though I don't think you guys can ever out-do yourselves after that ending scene!

I saw ul'dah's mount latter in the video it was still brown... maybe blue is from that area past coerthas whose name I forget... maybe the attack by bahamut bonded the two nations...

To nitpick, Ishgard was never it's own nation. Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah, Gridania and Ishgard are all different city-states which make up the collective-group (?) (don't know exact term) called Eorzea. Ishgard, however, withdrew from the Eorzean Alliance early on, hence why we only have the three starting cities.

You see Ul'dah's chocobo in the very foreground as the chocobos keep plowing ahead.

    BUT LIMSA PRIDE. /gcsalute

The 2nd chocobo that appears after Limsa's is of the Immortal Flames.

Let us recall that in the end-of-era sequence, Ul'dah scored a direct hit for far more devestation than Limsa or Gridania. Even if the Flames still exist, they could very well have a new national identity.

It looked like the "direct hit" actually hit behind the city, much like the rain of death Bahamut drops on Limsa. I'd say none of the cities took absolute direct hits.

Also, they could just be, you know...flags. They don't have to represent the Grand Companies. They could represent the Free Companies even.

Especially because the Chocobo barding for Ul'dah remains unchanged, I see no reason to assume the color scheme of the Flames has changed.

it seems the same on the official site and we all can't forget that they are making a new location... The question is where can it fit on the map... and the only place not occupied on the map is ishgard....

I count 5 appearances of the Ul'dah crest in all of those. I may have missed some as well, but rest assured Immortal Flames aren't going anywhere.

HQ proof for all of you to see:
