    Just wanted to make sure...

    I just saw a post on the blog section of the lodestone from a player implying that ff14 ARR will be region locked... This isn't true I hope... It also wasn't mentioned in any letters yet...

    They announced you will be able to play in any region you choose. They are putting server in each region though.

    NA can play in JP/EU, and so on.

    Issue is it still may segregate the servers that is yet to be seen though. But there is no lock.

    Ah I see... I remember that... That is probably why the guy said that since most players will likely segregate themselves into their regions so they can play with the least lag... I personally will stay with the Japanese servers since Yoshida said himself that they can better take care of server issues with the servers in Japan since SE will run it while the ones in NA and EU will be run by private companies...

    Well I bought my game in North America and I can choose whatever language I want from English, French, Dutch and Japanese in the configuration windows. Hope it helps.

    The physical disk for the PS3 version MIGHT be region locked.

    That is the concern, but we do not know for certain.
