PVP like XI - liked that more then Open world PVP
Duals - Challenge players in open world without actually killing them. Good way to test yourself
Endgame - Dynamis! I loved.
~~ sAnItY iS oVeRaTeD... ~~

- Drastic Class uniqueness (When at the same lv my mage solo easier than a tank or any DD, there something wrong right there)
- More, much more agro mob. (It’s plain to peaceful, where’s the adrenaline of walking in Valkurm Dunes and the likes, that made me love FFXI so much?)
- Skill chain ( they miss on this one big time, that was parties was all about. tactics, strategic and execution = fast kill a lots of fun)
- Better animation (when I first started as a mage and saw the animation effect off the process and the landing of magic spell, said to myself mehh... must be keeping the good stuff for high level mages. eventually I realise this was it and this must be change.)
- Chocobo
- Modification to the battle system that make us actually want to party, and a better search option for those seeking and looking for a party)

Pretty much everything at this point, FFXIV as of right now is a joke compared to FFXI

-A conquest system, when some garlean territory is introduced. With campaign-style battles and whatnot.
-Mog houses, definitley.
-Delivery box system.
-Quest fame.
To be honest, I can think of more things that they could add that were never in FFXI.

Linkshell Managment:
/lsmes
Sort names alphabetically.
Show zone locations/Job/Rank.
Able to remove inactive members, I think my linkshell is on it's 7th version?
Promote members even if they aren't online.
For the love of God, /assist and <stnpc> <stpc>
A usuable search feature... I can't seem to figure out how the search function works or what it was suppose to be used for... why can't I have /sea all . . .
Moghouse/Appartment Furnishing
Delievery Function
Retainers/AH:
I want to be able to see the price history of the last 10 items sold. This will help stablize economy.
Why do retainers crash when servers go down? Actually... randomly...
Item search function avaible at your retainer as well as entrance/exit
Thats all I really have for now.
Class emotes. (these are fun in ffxi)
Limit breaks And a ffxiv maat. (we need something to test players skills)
Mog houses but with added uasble furnature like a stove for cooking instead of always always using the pocket stove.
Yukata (but full robe form not just a shirt)
Shantotto sorry she my fav npc :3
npc of mixed races such as the half human half elvaan dancer from wings.
the dancer class ( loved this one and all the airtifact for it.)
level sync- and ppl actually use it.
The /search function.
Mog houses.
Mail.
More defined classes or stronger limitations on using abilities from other classes.
Probably because many of us liked FFXI and not WoW, so we're disappointed in FFXIV going in the direction that we didn't like before. That's funny... when trying to turn this game into FF XI-2 not too many pple complain. Yet that is exactly what the developers tried to stay away from. If someone made a "what WOW features would you like to see in FF XIV?" man that would have pissed off a lot of pple...

- Skillchains + Magicburst
- Housing
.

Seeking party feature for sure the lfg in game atm is very lacking needs a complete ui overhaul and made more user friendly it practically needs to have a required reading technical manual to operate and is too one sided not everyone in the party can be the party leader so its not practical for everyone else to find parties without being the leader this doesnt make much sence but yeah.
There needs to auction house front end for retainers they need to be able to ferry your stuff to ah for you without being fixed in a specific ward but work if they are also..
