Would have liked to see FFXIV be more like FFXI in terms of traditional jobs/classes
These are supported by members of Vandiel Legion (LS) on Fabul server ^^
1. Linkshell commands for removal of inactive Characters
2. Companies - campny bank and all the fun stuff included with this.
3. Divx error fix. A lot of people are still having trouble in Grid.

That's funny... when trying to turn this game into FF XI-2 not too many pple complain. Yet that is exactly what the developers tried to stay away from. If someone made a "what WOW features would you like to see in FF XIV?" man that would have pissed off a lot of pple...

Box surrounding HQ items: +1/2/3.

I was always one of the minority that was hoping FFXIV would be FFXI-2.. I think there are many systems that should be integrating. Square Enix seem so hellbent on keeping FFXIV that uniquely aside from FFXI that they're completely polarizing systems in what they think is making a different game, when really it is just robbing it of a beautifully majestic game, as per it's potential..
For me, the main fundamentals are easy.. Subjobs instead of overly-versatile class customizability.. /sea all, party flags, mog houses, an auction house and auto attack.
These features could be so easily implemented and to my eye they would fix the games current problems and limitations.
Subjobs would serve to enhance class uniqueness with you having to pick and choose a main and a sub.
/sea all and party flags would solve the distinct lack of party play in the game as we could now search and browse for suitable party members rather than just putting up a recruit and just hoping somebody suitable joins. (DD mage vs. Healing mage).
Mog housing and an Auction House would serve to solve the storage problem as well as completely obliterate any gripes and problems with the current retainer system (many gripes of which I share).
There's my two pennies.
Edit..
Two more things I think should also feature are:
/lsmes.. Such a small detail but none the less one that a game without serves to make organizing and spreading the word of Linkshell Events makes extremely difficult.
Free roaming monster paths..
By this I mostly mean the ability to kite, as well as having a static camp and a designated puller.
Am I the ONLY person that HATES roaming?!
We need more aggro mobs and designated party camping spots!

While I don't necessarily want to see FF14 turn into FF11-2 (granted, this has both pros and cons), I would indeed like to see some of the more useful functional features that were in 11 that were for some reason completely removed in 14...
- /search or something similar
- seek party flag
- being able to see where your LS mates are loitering/what their current class/ranks are n such in the LS list rather than just who's online
- having a controller button toggle thru the chat log, rather than opening a functionally pointless emote list
- I forgot which buttons did which, but different buttons having different functionalities within the inventory menu, i.e. one button toggles sort, being able to consume an item with CONFIRM (rather than having to open the separate consuable item menu), rather than having the CONFIRM button handle everything
- etc. etc.
