Bug Report + Feedback Interface for Beta test

This is a request to add some kind in integrated bug report / feedback interface for the beta test, unless it has been added already of course.

The best example I have of this would be to point towards what Bioware used for the closed + open beta for SWTOR. Their system had a button on the UI that you could hit at any time that would gather system and location information for where you were in game, and alow you to submit your report right when a bug happened. It was also set up to randomly ask for feedback on a quest that you just completed, or it would pop up every once and a while asking for feedback on whatever activity your were doing at the time.

Bug report and feedback forums are always going to be needed of course, but it would be hard to get the same level of feedback, or accuracy of a bug report that you can get from a simple in-game interface that gathers location/quest/screenshot info right from the client and submits it at the time it happens.

Anyway, posting this now in hopes that it will increase the odds of something like this making it into the beta client before mid Feb. If anyone has something else that they feel would be helpful to see in the beta to make the testing better overall, feel free to post it in here.

I'm sure they will have something like this. They did in the old 1.0 beta where you went to the action menu and submitted a bug under the support section.

I know the Alpha users can't talk. but they'd be able to confirm it. lol

I'm 100% certain they will, mostly because even the ORIGINAL beta had one.

The difference is it didn't serve any purpose... lol

I want to say, "Oh that's not true!", but I sit and think about my last beta experience and the old team and say.... "Yeah... that's about right!"

I loved Tanaka to death with XI and the beginning of XIV but when you compare him to Yoshi-P there is just no comparison!

That's good to hear, I never heard of one for the original beta, however I was really impressed with how usefull the one in SWTOR was, so wanted to at least mention something.

Don't worry ... These devs aren't your fresh out of school college kids that has no programming experience.

There will be a beta forum to keep track of all the issues, or else how else are they going to find out the issues/bugs beta testers will encounter?

He mostly meant that aside from Forums to post bug/feedback, he is merely asking to add a interface in-game for bug/feedback similar to how we have that support/helpdesk in 1.0.

Keep in mind folks, that Beta is simply making adjustments and minor changes to existing content. Feature requests at this point is a foregone conclusion. If anything is going to be added at this point it will be after launch of saved for an expansion.
