R.I.P. V.1.23b, and thanks for the fun and the amazing times i had while it was up!
Thanks everyone that actually played with me and assisted me in the "times of need"!
Will miss playing with you guys :/
Too bad i didnt make much videos, thanks to fraps ridiculous huge files and Windows Movie Maker being slow as shiz D: Not to mention that the quality is shiz.... no blur at all....
Wish i started making them files way early...

See you guys in A Realm Reborn (still too long...... but what can we do :/ ).
Hopefully you guys will be there and not somewhere else!!! (Do not forget YOUR INGAME FRIENDS! (since we wont meet in the next few months) You may now forget your family, your job, your school, everything else (since you can be at it full-time now lol)).

Oh, and please dont change them CutScenes from Version 1.0 too much!! Also I wish that people that had a character made pre-ARR whould have all the CutScenes Unlocked :\ since i didnt got them all but only the story-lines ones :/ ).

New Era Will begain 1month and half from now.

Altho for me it probably wont be, because i'm not Legacy because of just afew days :\
But at least i'll enter in ends of April on the Beta Wave 3!
And play Phase 4 with my main!! (hopefully) and since stuff will carry over, it will be even better to play! I just hope it kick's Azz! Otherwise i wont have anything to play since i mostly only play FF games (wont go back to XI now, since its too damn easy.... and i dont think Seekers of Adoulin will get me back either... new content with a way-too-damn-quick way of lvling will just be sad... no challenge at all leveling up, newbs get to end-game in 3 days.... /sigh.... So i'll prob just play RL unless i find a good MMORPG) So... let's make ARR be the best out thear! We canz do itz!

Once good stuff from ARR comes out i'll be showing my friends and try to make some kind of Advertisement... So, give us some cool stuff about ARR SE!

It's really sad - and ironic that the original shutdown brought me back to the game after a few months out of it. And I've since accomplished a lot in the past month that I hadn't done before the final save maintenance at the end of September - got GLA to 50, unlocked PLD, even finished off the Path of the Twelve storyline all on my own , which I'm quite proud of.

Still, it's really sad to see the original version go out with a whimper rather than a bang - but at least SE gave us one more month than what was originally envisioned. And I'm grateful for that.

Anyway, I hung around for the last hour in Ul'dah before heading back to Gridania and the Inn where I put Enki to sleep moments before the servers went down, when I took my very last screenshot.

Yes, I'm saddened by 1.0 going down. But, as the End of an Era trailer said, 'with every end comes a new beginning.' 2.0 is going to be a brave new world for us all.

It must have been lonely to play all that time as solo
I had all my stuff done so there was no point in continuing doing anything else (as there were no ppl for fights such as Garuda, Ifrit, Nael Hard Mode, etc) But i though a day was enough to make a video of both storylines and convert the files while at it, but nope... It hardly happen and had no time left to take screenshots :\\\\\
Altho, i'll miss alot of stuff from 1.0... Just not the lag lol
Loved the story, loved the graphism, loved the battle-system (combo ws's), had alot of fun with friends, loved boss fights, loved the soundtracks, loved the 3 months of play i had since August to November.
Thanks for the great game (aside from the lag) that XIV 1.0 was!! Hoping i get as addicted or even more to XIV 2.0!

Mmm, it did get lonely at times, but I'm kind of used to 'solo-playing' on MMOs (when I started FFXI years ago I didn't have any friends playing, and took ages before I made any friends in game), so it wasn't too bad.

Sadly though it was kind of my fault anyway, as I chose the wrong server to play on (I didn't realise at the time I signed up for XIV that all my FFXI friends who had started on XIV had moved to different servers from the one I thought they were on (Selbina, which became Ridill). Hence I only had one person on my Friend List who was never on.

Ah well, from what I understand 2.0 will allow us to change servers so that shouldn't be a problem for me anymore.

Thank you SE for making 1.xx free period of time so I got my friends a chance to try it and they loved it for what they saw it and I was keeping them updated about what's up with 2.0. I was enjoying it but I started considering about a monthly fee until I saw their artworks and plans for 2.0 and that got me excited enough to pay them because Yoshi-P seems a good man to me. ^^d

There was many a time I logged in after work trying to find a /shout and nada, it got so bad everyone who was logged at that hour made a late night LS, from that point on I had many things to do, I can't wait for ARR
