    Just an example, they seem to be taking screenshots with shadows off followed by shadows on, then picking the shadow colors from the "shadows on" pics and painting more realistic shadows this way on a copy of "shadows off" screenshot.

    So it's not a matter of converting them (it's never that easy)

    Read some more tutorials and tried using some of the techniques. It's pretty addicting @_@

    Yeah Kodama's work has been nothing short of spectacular. Really excellent renderings that spiffily show off the beauty of Eorzea... which is why I even linked it on my blog over a year ago.
