I highlighted one phrase in your post there Renshi. Really? Lol, dude, I miss hanging with you guys in mumble. I should drop back in sometime, good to see you're around though!Heya!
Consider that this I'm saying is based off my opinions. Therefore, there's no wrong or right.
No matter how you see it, it's a gamble. People could go 300$ like they could not. If the game is a success and majority of people will go with the Lifetime Subscription, then SE will majorly see 300$ of income from a good bunch of people, simply because the game is amazing and the best thing they ever played, experienced.
On the other hand, the game could be normally good, or a failure, so the 300$ from people who believed the game was fantastic will take an onion up their arses, while SE will enjoy their moneys.
In my opinion, if you are sure that the game is amazing and it will make every player jizz in their shoes, you would not consider a Lifetime Subscription, because once you receive those moneys, people will enjoy it even after 20 years, and you will lose all of the rest of their moneys Fo Evar.
On the other part, if you are not so confident about the game you could be a badass and go with the Lifetime Subscription, so players with high hope for the game will go that route and then taste the red hot chili pepper with all of its seme... se... sements... *checks google* seeds.
For me? I would be happy paying once per year! Like that I both have good funs while working and at the same time support SE for their awesome job~
