Lifetime Subscription

People sell "lifetime" bundles at a significantly reduced price. We're talking about a subscription to an online game here.

Another reason to buy in bulk... On top of Legacy discount, it would probably save 100s of money in the long run

The longer the better. I was disappointed when 6 months was the longest sub. You have to look at the advantages. It's not a bad thing to offer a lifetime sub. After all, it's an OFFER: most people won't take it probably because it's expensive, but it's all money in the bank. It won't hurt anything.

Your right as a Customer Longer + Cheaper= Better I agree with you. and it doesn't hurt to have that option you are right about that as well. I just feel if I was in their shoes and I was making money off a MMORPG, I wouldn't put a Lifetime option.

The longer the Sub plan the cheaper it is ( for Most MMORPGs that aren't free). They are banking on if the Customer is going to stay and play for a long time or cop out early. That's why I feel it's a Gamble for SE to offer it.. BUT if they do offer it.. of Course I wouldn't pass it up. =)

It's not really a gamble. The customer will only see savings if they stick around... if they don't they may have just paid MORE.

It's as close to a win-win as there ever will be when it comes to P2P MMOs
