If you haven't played the game at all in the past 2 years, aside from the lolworthy alpha and beta, as far as I'm concerned, you have no right to post here.

Walking into a thread and saying "lol game is done" like the other gloom-and-doomers is only going to get you marked as an imbecile. Also, don't bother giving credit to the team that has worked their asses off for two years to recreate the entire game from thin air, as well as release it in the coming months.

Anyone still arguing that July isn't the release date will be in for a rude awakening. July is the hard cap release. This company is looking to release this game to a high standard. Put two and two together.

Also, when has any game development schedule been on time? Or a release date for that matter? Also ALSO, there is always downtime for a week to two weeks after open betas. Sorry, but your hanging onto the dream of FFXIV:ARR releasing any time earlier than July is looking a little sad, bros.

I don't understand the point of this argument. Because as soon as phase 4 hits, open beta, NDA lifted. Our playing of the game officially starts from phase4.(early release)as our data will not be wiped.

Its only the PS3 that really has to wait for the release date, of going out to the store and picking up a copy. Not to mention the PS3's beta starts from phase 3, which means it will be going on far after the PC version is live. Which technically is at phase 4.

Yah... picking up a PC box copy of the FFXIV CE (Me ) will be at the same time as the PS3 release. But We will have access to the free download of the game way before that.

PS3 will have a Aug.-Sept release. Calling it now! PC, Well we will be playing the game already.

Unless everyone is arguing, for when the the release is, and for actually getting started with the new adventure that awaits us. Cause those are two separate things.

He has no point. Keep in mind that no more than a couple weeks ago he was bullshitting that he had it on high authority that we'd have to wait several months for the beta. And that we'd be "in for a rude awakening" if we believed otherwise. That's how credible he is.

No. Not necessarily (besides the fact that Yoshida said several times that PC and PS3 will be released at the same time). A lot of the testing to be made is server-side and has nothing to do with the client and/or platform. The PS3 beta can easily just be made of phase 3 and 4. The content is exactly the same.
