when all the necessary info is in the NPC dialogue or in the quest log there's no need for blinking arrows and stuff.
this isn't a racing game for retards where there is a bright and colorful racing line marked on the street.

in ffxi there were none, and people didn't did any different than live with ffxiciclopedia under the nose

Some clarification is needed,

If you read PAGE 5, which says "Beta Test Eligiblility"
it means those 3 type of account holders are Eligible to the Beta Test, this does not mean those account are Qualified.

This show greatly that they will still screen-proof and selected some for the beta test, how many i do not know.

So basicly, dont hope to high and be disappointed like some of you do xD <3

Did you miss it by a month? Or was it an error in the system? If they are giving legacy to those that missed it by a month I'd be really happy. For any less I'd think its weird but I dont care enough since I still think playing the game at the time legacy was available was fine and packed full of exclusives (reward enough) lol - besides it wasnt that bad once in year 2012. If they are doing any of the sort I assume you'd have to agree to an NDA.. though keep us updated if not

Why the hell would you delay a game for E3 when that game already has how many thousand paying customers waiting to give you their money? Hell if there were only 1,000 people at launch and they were all Legacy accounts that'd be about $10,000 right off the bat. That's not even a drop in the bucket towards SE being profitable on FFXIV but it is revenue.

I'm happy that they are willing to take what time it takes to make the game the best it could be. Final Fantasy XIV was my 1st mmo to play at the ripe old age of 35 lol. So with age comes patients, but don't get me wrong I'm waiting for the release with patients though. I enjoyed 1.0 probably more than most seeing how I'm sad to see it end, but from what i've experience in the alpha test. It's going to have a better start with a tone of content that 1.0 didn't have at launch. Yoshi-P has done a great job with 1.0 and it will also reflect in 2.0. Just give them time to creat the best game they can.

Square-enix at E3 will mostly show stuff that we already known about XIV. I see them showing FFXIII-3, FFvs13 & FFXV over XIV unless they decide to show work of the first stages of what to expect in the first expansion but I don't see that happening till 2014. You have to remember SE bought Eidos interactive & a few other companies that are lesser known outside of japan. SE could show another set of games from Eidos like they did with Tomb Raider (rebooted), Hitman (continuing the story of Agent 47). What to expect next I can predict seeing "Legacy of Kain & Thief (reboot) " at E3 2013.

They are giving themselves wiggle room in the roadmap but that has nothing to do with if something seriously unanticipated happens and it pushes everything back further than what was originally accounted for. It isn't like this stuff is set in stone. The future is unwritten after all.
