I'm one of those really picky with the game content/quality so you'll see me giving lots of feedback during beta... if my feedback leads to games delay, I apologize now LOL

EDIT: OK just watched the video to the part where YoshiP commented on Legacy members. It's confirmed. YoshiP said ALL LEGACY MEMBERS WILL GET TO START FROM PHASE 1, no registration, selection is needed.

Also for those that got selected from Alpha, they will try to get more priority to get in beta fast but may not be for all at phase 1.

For those with current version FFXIV account they will be able to play from phase 3, if they didn't get selected already for previous phases.

Well said Reinheart. Indeed, if you are a legacy member, then guess what? You're in beta. From the very freakin beginning. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Hopefully, people will stop trying to complicate this, lol. But that's a very small and distant hope... -.-

Wow so we're looking at a June launch? I definitely hate that I was right about the 6 months of downtime, but it's definitely needed to ensure the quality of this game.

Lol, you really need to quit it. Your view on this is becoming worse than those trolls who magically claim to already know launch dates through some secret grapevine.. Based on the roadmap, and the history of XIV's updates throughout 1.0, launch isn't likely till July. Sure, if you want to be completly naive and go against what has happened with every update thus far, wishing on a star for the earliest possible launch given on a roadmap (which I'm not sure if has EVER happened for ANY MMO in development..) then so be it. Just don't expect other people to hop on that bandwagon, and do expect to called out on it over... and over..

Though, for the sake of argument, I guess it could be argued that if Phase 4 technically becomes the "headstart" as suggested, that opens up a chance for a much earlier "launch". Still, turn down the fanboi some, and turn up reality.
