70000 characters is a lot for a thread lol

An alternative could be to open a new thread with your OP broken up into several "replies" i.e. A-D, one post, E-G, second post etc..or find some way to sneak those into the first page of the Media thread.

It's not uncommon for media threads such as pictures/screenshots to get restarted after they reach a certain number of replies. This way you can keep stuff organized and make sure no good pieces get lost in the abyss of 100 pages XD

Maybe you could ask SE to sticky the reference one you create, and keep this one around for people to keep submitting? I don't know, just giving out ideas here xD

if you can get a point across in less than 70000 characters, then perhaps you need to just start a blog and post your stuff there. Seriously, that's a ridiculously high character post limit. I'd be happy to see it shorted to 30000 characters or even less.

It's not about being concise enough to get your point accross. The threads that this is happening with are link archives (for lack of a better term coming to mind) like the FFXIV media thread or the translation thread.
