Can someone smarter than me help? (graphics card issue)

I dont have tridef 3D on. My monitor doesnt currently support it but I will be fixing that soon.

Sorry I probably confused you with Tridef 3D. Was trying to ask if you are trying to play FFXIV with 3D on or off?

I use Tridef 3D because I have a Samsung S27A950D monitor. It's ideal monitor for an AMD video card.

With Nvidia card it's best to use a 3d monitor that supports NVIDIA 3D Vision.

Are you using latest drivers from Nvidia Website?

I have a GTX 680, I haven't tested with FFXIV 1.0 since I bought it. I'll reinstall 1.0 to see if I have same issue.

I logged into FFXIV yesterday to test out my new GTX680, and the only problem I had was extreme blurryness.

Turning off FXAA fixed it, but no problem such as the OP.

If latest drivers don't fix the problem. You probably need to do what Abriael said to completely clean out old drivers. I used to use Driver Sweeper to completely remove old drivers. Careful where you download this program, I see forums saying newer version contains OpenCandy. There's other tools such as atiman or you can follow a guide to do it manually.

yea you did confuse me a bit with the tridef lol, but still no 3d or tridef 3d is on. Also have all the new drivers installed. I just reinstalled them from that website just to be sure... nothing.

Weird. I use a GTX670 and never seen anything like that. It's as if the backdrop is zoomed in way too much.

I'd suggest what someone else already did: Driver Sweeper or similar program. Get rid of both the AMD and NVIDIA drivers and then clean install the NVIDIA ones.

gtx680 is too new and they didnt touch the drivers for the game in awhile. so in ARR it should work.
