    Can someone smarter than me help? (graphics card issue)

    I know the game is pretty much over, but a week ago I switched out my card from a ASUS Radeon HD 7970 to a EVGA GTX680, mostly because i am getting a new monitor in the near future and might want to try 3D gaming/movie watching.

    Anyhoo, when I got everything installed and up and running the graphics for FFXIV are all fuckered up(best way I have to describe it...see video below). I have verified all current drivers are installed and I have even done a complete re-instal of the game and nothing has worked. Anyone can help?

    FYI the reason I want to get this fixed is I am trying to FRAPS the cutscenes for personal reasons (maybe future videos or something) Right now they are just comically horrible...

    The link below is a short video of what is happening. Everything in the foreground is functioning fine, but the background is all kinds of wonky. And this is ONLY FFXIV. Skyrim, Assassins Creed III Borderlands II and GW2 all work flawlessly.

    there's a nvidia card who is heavily incompatible with 1.0. Don't remember the name, but probably is..your

    Go into Settings and try unchecking "Depth of field"

    Did you do a through cleaning of the ATI drivers off your PC? Moving from an ATI driver to a Nvidia one (or the other way around) can definitely cause problems if some parts of the old driver remain.

    I did a uninstal from the windows 7 control panel of the Catalyst software. If there is more 'cleaning' than that required then I'd have to say no, I didnt.

    I get the same problem with Tridef 3D, others have this issue too.

    SE demoed 3D, however I don't think it's officially supported.

    Do you get same problem with 3D off?

    3D is supported but not recommended for the 1.0 game. There will possibly be support for ARR in the near future.

    I dont have tridef 3D on. My monitor doesnt currently support it but I will be fixing that soon.
