This isn't a thread saying they must do this, just a request I hope they consider. For those who bought the CE version of FFXIV back at launch would the dev team be willing to upgrade those players to the CE version in A Realm Reborn? The digital version if they do that is. That means if there's any special in-game items for CE buyers of a Realm Reborn those are automatically given to the original CE owners as well. No free game time, but exclusive items for those accounts. I loved this game, don't get me wrong and I'm not saying we're entitled to this whatsoever.

But the original Collector's Edition felt as if it was lacking a lot for what was offered and it'd be nice if we could get a little something extra. Again not saying we're entitled or owed it, just would be a nice gesture I think for those who originally bought the Collector's Edition if the in-game items offered with the CE version of ARR were given to us as well.
