here is the most constructive thing i can say to this thread if its that much of a disappointment to you then go play something else there are far to many people complaining about this game already do not need another one in the mix.

Indeed. If you are not able to speak in a manner that SE can understand, speak instead with your wallet and don't pay for the game.

EDIT: Really, mods? The thread where we are courteously discussing apparent changes to animations and graphics upcoming in ARR gets locked without explanation, but this thread is left alone?

cause they won't ever change the graphics, it's in stone most likely. even if game fails they want the ps3 to do well as well. at worse this game for them will go f2p and they expect the ps3 to work well for the kiddies on it. they can change the direction of a mmo in things in game but spending more money on creating a better looking graphic is probably not gonna happen. the engine they put it on itself was a huge issue and maybe even why it had such good graphics to begin with. (don't quote me on that last statement cause i'm not a tec nerd on graphics, just sounds logical to me) either way they need worry more about the content then what the game looks like. i thought it looks above and beyond what ffxiv 1.0 looked like. it's like a different game just in looks. but it's not what will keep players or have them running. they didn't leave cause the copy paste, they made fun of it for sure but if the content was top notch still, they would of dealt with it.

Actually I thought he was spot on. If using a spell check is beyond you, it tells us a great deal about what you find "interesting". I too have to say that I get tired of the negative nannies all over this forum and other places.
If the non-story and boring grind of WOW and its other incarnations such as Guild Wars 2 is your poison have at it, but your concern-trolling, and yes that is how you spell concern, gets old. Several concern trolls have me rolling my eyes back in my head many times in this forum alone, and you are usually the ones that find yourselves the official wonders of the MMO worlds.

But here is a truth: if they did all the stuff you and the other concern trolls want, right now right away, and give us another boring WOW-alike, there isn't going to be a thing of a Final Fantasy left, and I personally will hate it. Please go do your thing where you want to do it. Quit pretending you actually understood the wonder of FF just because you spent 8 years doing .. what???

But whatever it is, if you start a thread anywhere, run it by someone for spelling and grammar. You might get taken more seriously.

you should read my posts before trying to comment because you missed the parts where i was saying to keep it final fantasy and make it actually feel like a real final fantasy because FFXIV does not feel like a real final fantasy.

I speak another language too, and sometimes I struggle with English because of my thoughts racing in Spanish (my other language). Still, I try my best

Anyone that knows how much the game has improved since 1.x can't say anything because of NDA. I can tell you a few things though, many of the things you mentioned were afterthoughts to 2.0 and added in at the request of us, the fans.

Also, everyone I've met in this game has been super friendly or quirky. Even in earlier 1.x, players were helpful and nice, so I honestly don't know where you got the feeling of hostility.
