Not only you didn't know it happened, but you also described it as something extremely difficult and almost unfeasible. Which it isn't. Any MMORPG with cross-server group finders has the base of the technology alreasy implemented to a rather large extent.

Having spoken multiple times with the developers that made it happen, your lack of practical and theoretical knowledge on the specific subject is rather evident, sorry to say.

You describe the work necessary to implement the system as something that would force Square Enix to completely redo their systems, which you can't argue, because you simply don't know how their systems are, and most likely it's completely untrue, as (thing that you seem to continue to ignore), their current server structure already involves immediate and unlimited transfers of character data and connections between servers, regardless of region. That's how cross-server gameplay is done, and we already know that ARR will involve cross-server gameplay.

It is an insult when I do know something, and you are specifically using my alleged lack of knowledge as an attack.
Nope. Whether you know or you don't (and you don't) telling you that you don't know something is not an insult. You may want to review the meaning of the word.
