I'm quite sure you're not blessed with level 5 mind reading yet.
I know that you're combating my posts just for the sake of it. That's okay. It would have to be the truth because if not for the fact that people are simply really into the Final Fantasy series, and Final Fantasy XIV specifically, you would not have testers OR people passionate enough to feel discouraged when they are not selected.

We're pointing out what is already evident. I just wish people would stop pretending to go into A Realm Reborn citing it to be a super serious task to contribute and NO WAY ARE THEY GOING TO ENJOY THE GAME NOR ARE THEY EXCITED TO TRY OUT AN EARLY VERSION!

Although, it's highly annoying to have people selected who you know aren't going to contribute a lick, let's just look at why they wanted to participate in the first place. They are interested and anxious to try the game out and preview it. Just like everyone else; including testers. It's slightly hypocritical to bash this type of player.

But also at the same time it's sad from all sides, in my opinion, to be upset in any way from being shut out. They have plenty of testers for their stress testing. Which this alpha is for. Of course, you can contribute your opinions on what little content they have to offer and thoughts on the games controls, but as far as "testing" goes you are basically only outlined to play a really boring early version, content wise, of a realm reborn. It's not worth it. Wait til beta. That's where the money is.
