They need to make cowls, better.

In terms of playing black mage, why would you ever wear a cowl. You can put Intelligence materia into a hat and make it really damn good. With a cowl you lose the hat slot. You can't make the cowl as good as a hat.

So I think cowls should not be attached to the robe. It should be it's own item that can be attached to the robe, this way using a cowl is more plausible.

Cause sometime I do want to wear a hooded robe, but stats keep me from doing so.

I agree. They could make the cowl that drapes over the shoulders and robe, yet separate from the robe and removable. They have this fancy tech for doing this very thing with gear so why didn't they do just that? The mind boggles.

O_O... I would love to see cloaks/cowls over armor... thats so sexy and realistic (half my brain hears realism and faps.. lol)

Perhaps make a cape / armor accessory slot. That way its not like everyone needs to wear one. Can wear other things in that slot instead, like capes or chest harnesses (a sling across the chest) and similar 'armor' accessories.

(Suppose they could have an on/off for self accessory slot option.. - not my favorite path.. but w.e they already said they will be adding a sort of vanity system so the fight for me is lost lol)
