New Player's Poll (Can we have it?)

You seem to be under the impression that players should make absolutely every decision about the game. I hope that is not the case because you would be dead wrong.

They already asked us questions regarding what we would like to see in 2.0. And they already asked us what class we would like to see. That is why we are getting summoner in the first place.

It is also not the players' business how SE handles their testing phases, nor do players have even the slightest clue about how they are supposed to be run (or apparantly what their function is) so it makes less than zero sense to poll the players in regard to the third and fourth question.

The only semi valid question there might be the one about the end of 1.0, though I'm not sure what kind of significant data that SE would get from asking it.

I'm sure when SE feels they need to poll the players again, they will, and it won't be under the demands of a player petition on the forum.

I'm sorry, you feel unease with the fact of the truth, of the topic at hand.

Most MMO's nowadays have a feedback or polling system released every couple or few months, so they can keep in touch with its player base. Players should be able to state contents they like or dislike about the current direction of the game.

Yes, Yoshi has done a poll of classes/jobs by genre of DoW or DoM but not a poll of the actual classes themselves & what they have selected for us to have in 2.0. Therefore, its time for questions like " Would you (the player) like to see Ninja, Thief, Red Mage, Dark Knight, or Blue Mage?" added along side Arcanist/Summoner.

Another player's poll would keep its player base reeled in & excited in what to expect next as well as a few surprises.

As far as not doing a poll after the ending of 1.0, is like telling a critic who goes to see a movie at the theater that they cant write about it or vote how many stars the movie should have and if that's not done your just pushing away the crowd for failure.
