in game encyclopedia

Would be fun to have some kind of encyclopedia .. when you kill an enemie and give you and items ... that items get recorded in that encyclopedia and when you go in it and click on the items its show what its does and where to find it ,which mobs drop it , or where to gather it. cos sometime you need to find a lot on net and sometime website is totaly not acurated or not updated

there was a mmo i played beta for that came with like a ingame wiki witch was really cool but the game sucked. that would be great, click on an icon and it opens up any info you need for the game within the game. people driven as well i think it was. i am trying to remember the dang name of it but can't ..i played it pre 1.0 launch for a few weeks. it's at the tip of the tongue too, but i just can't remember lol. but either way i like the idea of opening up all info within the game as you start doing them like warhammer book of knowledge. but a in game encyclopedia would be great.

I men that the info wont be all there when start game ..you need to kill monster to unlock the info .. and more info you get more achivement you unlock ...like ..soiled Femur .. you get by killing a monster .. then when look info .. say the monster you get it from .... and when you kill another monster different if a soiled femur drop then its unlock that info so you know those 2 monster drop it .... and when you mine if you find a soiled femur .. its unlock that too .. so you know that too ..so you need to unlock ..so when later you need to find something for crafting you dont need to look unlock but used the info you found while playing ^^

This has already been proposed by someone else and pretty heavily backed, called the bestiary. the info should be gradually unlocked as you kill that mob though, not give you everything instantly.

I was gonna say similar to "Kingdom Hearts"? Like how they had a book about all the characters and their backgrounds, the heartless, places/worlds etc.

FFXIII, Mass Effect and some other games did this.

I'm all for it, an expanded journal where you can check the people you have talked to, the types of enemies you killed and where, etc.

DoH get a recipe book, DoL get a gathering book, so a bestiary book for DoM and DoW would be only fair ^^
And a beastiary is FF tradition, too
