What was nice about exp groups is that it allowed you to stray away from the aetherytes and try other places, while leves always kept you in the same small aetheryte locations. Scenery between two different locations in the same region may have been minor, but it was better than nothing and you were free to wander.

I walked every inch of this game and only like 2-3 places stood out.

Well, you're free to your opinion, but you're missing the point of my original post anyways, which was playing with other people as opposed to grinding solo. This really doesn't need to be an argument, lol.
