Ruin dungeon, hmmmm
Tomb Raider puzzles with many switches and traps or Indiana Jones puzzles with traps and rolling stones (do a speed run or the stone get you) ^^

Yay for something hardly anybody will do unless it's required!

Bitches love puzzles!!
All they have to do is make CS's like FFXI, throw you into the CS let everyone watch it, proceed to the battlefield AFTER the cutscene...as in you select the entrance twice or the timer doesn't begin until you engage the monster and if someone leeroys their way todefeatvictory it's their own fault
The only reason people were skipping was due to the idiotic speedrun requirements to see any decent gear drops in a dungeon.

In the blog post, Yoshi has what looks like a map of the dungeon in front of him. I've been trying to enhance it in photo-shop, but the resolution is too low to really make out much, drat it.

hm what i didnt mention yet.. looks like we get finally an outdoor (or partly outdoor) dungeon now (woo*) this is so great..
because i hated that we only had caves in 1.0... you can do just so much more than just caves.
well maybe i was not the only who made suggestions long time ago about "puzzles/riddles" and outdoor dungeons.. well i should become a game designer ^^
these ruins remind me a bit of Final Fantasy 12... but well you actually cant see much.
Who said jumping puzzle!?

I have mixed feelings about puzzles. On one hand I love them! On the other if it is in content that you do repeatedly, the charm of solving a puzzle is lost because once it's solved you know the answer.
Now unless the puzzle has a randomly generated solution will it remain challenging. I loved CC "initially" for it's uniqueness in progressing through the dungeon. But you do it half a dozen times and it loses it's charm.
And like some said before puzzles in large groups is a nightmare! Somebody always drops the ball or doesn't care, and while this does happen in small groups, in large ones you rage out of frustration because 5 ppl keep slacking when you only have to deal with 1 in a small party.
Easy puzzles are cool when the hints are easy to find. And as long as the hints to the solution change with the randomly generated answer it should be fine!
Riddles, probably should stay with solo content. However getting ppl to work together to solve riddles can be fun.
I feel like, at this point in 2.0 development, they could show us potato salad and half of us would love it, half of us would hate it, and 2 or 3 of us would be saying we should wait and see what its like first before judging. Beta and release can not come soon enough for this galka. Not trying to hate, just tired of teasers and ready for the game already![]()
