Unlike MMOs though, Oblivion/Skyrim was only playable due to community modding lol, so that's the first MMO I'd honestly want to be modded heavily from the start xD.
Skyrim wasn't so bad.
It just had extremely repetitive and systematic content once you got through the more adventurous stuff. What's that? Go fetch a thing from you in a dungeon in a mountain? What a shock.
Considering how impatient people are these days, I believe that would be a heavy challenge.
I'm getting Skyrim, the expansions for it, AND the extended game guide for Christmas!
My family ROCKS!
/happy dance
So, I'll be fulfilled on the Elder Scrolls end. I won't really need ESO. The only MMO I'm looking forward to at present is FFXIV.
Be prepared to spend a couple weeks modding before you even start playing.
Ah. Don't use Steam Workshop. It's crap and its auto update feature is the perfect recipe for destroying your game in progress. Use the mod manager on Skyrim Nexus instead.
Geez, is it in that much need of mods? lolBe prepared to spend a couple weeks modding before you even start playing.

Must be bugged to hell.
Or the manual esm selection inside the config (iirc). As much as people like Steam..I had nothing but issues with it's MMO and big title update management.Be prepared to spend a couple weeks modding before you even start playing.

It's a bethesda game, they should come with a disclaimer that you'll need at least graphic patches for certain things and bug fix patches from the get go.
Nothing like doing 360s while riding a horse or your head skyrocketing off.
Wow. This will be my first bethesda game. Looks like I have a lot to learn.
Good thing I'm getting the PC version. lol
