Actually I have not seen this anywhere, they say "you will not disclose propitiatory information before it is officially revealed" that means information that belongs to SE, or what you see in game, nowhere does it even hint upon you not being allowed to tell people you are in the test.

I don't like to be spoon fed content. Maybe you do. They replaced gathering with a no skill vending machine. I guess that's fun...

No one has told me how saying your in the test is SE propitiatory information yet, explain to me how that is the case and I will shut up about it.

i doubt it. it wouldnt be good for their testing plans to test server stability, if they banned everyone who even mention being in alpha...

They do ban for NDA breaches, and take it very seriously, but no one can tell me how mentioning you're in alpha is a breach of the NDA, it's never mentioned.

As stated in the "FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Tester Agreement," testers are prohibited from publicizing any proprietary information related to the Alpha Test on external sites. In the event that we confirm that infringement has occurred, your rights to be a tester will be revoked and your FINAL FANTASY XIV account will be suspended.

We will announce if and when Alpha Test-related details can be publicized, so please take great care in their handling until they have been made public. For feedback and discussions between testers, please use the dedicated tester forum, which will open at a later date.

Oh i know they ban ppl for posting pics and videos etc, that isn't official info yet. but yah, not for simply saying you're in alpha, that would be odd.

What? He clearly broke the NDA, and there are consequences to that. I was saying that I hope that SE turns a blind eye to this, otherwise he would be kicked out.

I wrote a post the other day comparing many people on these forums to James Woods (don't ask). There wasn't a single curse word in it and, if anything, it was seriously meant as a joke. Within 10 mins of me posting it, for whatever reason, SE reps deleted it and took it down. If you don't think they would have been all over this guy for what he said about being in alpha, starting with deleting his post, then banning him from alpha, minutes after posting, your foolish. Obviously his post is still up, which means they have seen it and many like it, and left it up because he isn't viliolating ANYTHING. Let the reps do their job. If they needed your help, they would ask for it.
