They should also add the ability to remove cowls... like take the hood off

They should also add the ability to remove cowls... like take the hood off

If I remember correctly, they said a few months ago that they were thinking about adding that option (I'll try and find the link ASAP). That would be the same system that I was referring to in my first post, where people wearing helms with visors could lift them up.

ahhh sorry about that, my reading comprehension is bad xD...
But yeah I think I did read that some time ago too, just forgot where

Yep, I'm very much in support of this idea. Eye/facewear should have it's own slot, and it would help a lot with character customization and personalization.
And on the seasonal event for next christmas, I want a fake santa beard![]()

I agree with the OP and award you one "like"So as you all know, we already have "head" gear slot. Unfortunately, this also groups gear such as glasses, goggles, masks, etc. into "head" gear as well. While this is technically true (they are on the head), I propose that "head" be split into two groups: "head" and "face."
That way, I can still be wearing glasses, for instance, while I'm wearing a cowl or some sort of hat. Gear such as a Velveteen Sugarloaf Hat (which adds tiny glasses) would display the "face" gear instead, unless specified otherwise using a text command such as /display face off. Helms (which sometimes cover the whole face) would obviously continue to obstruct the "face" gear no matter what, unless of course they decide to implement an option to put up visors, in which case the face gear would become visible.
So SE...am I not allowed to wear glasses all the time? My poor Lalafell eyes are bad enough already; walking around without my prescription glasses would only worsen my eyesight. So please, allow me to wear my glasses all the time.
Also, I realize that "face" gear sounds a bit awkward, but it's the only word I could think of that accurately describes the region that this gear would be worn. If anyone has a better idea, please feel free to let me know!![]()

I support this idea! Actually i asked this already a while ago...to add facegear slot as accessory so stuff like masks, eyepatches, spectacles and other would become accessory, being then allowed to equip with headgear.

What I'd also like to see fixed is a cowl design doesn't make me bald. Whenever I equip one all of my hair magically disappears. It just looks....bad. I understand there are clipping issues with some hair styles, but it shouldn't be that hard to find a happy medium that doesn't involve magical baldness.

I agree, along with the OP aswell.
I agree 100% with the OP. Having a face slot would be perfect so I could further customize my character's appearance.

I'd really have no problem with the face slot being cosmetic only.
Also,I seriously doubt crafters would see a reduce in income. Free to Play games and WoW demonstrated that vanity/cosmetic additions are valued by players just as much as stat gear. Maybe even more considering that people are willing to pay money for them.
