    In the final fantasy world wouldn't they be off tending to the chocobos instead of in the kitchen?

    I can see it now, a marvelous highlander female petting a chocobo with braided hair, calming a chocobo and speaking to it with a cockney accent.

    Lalafells belong in the kitchen.
