Ughhh, posts like the OP makes me gringe...
Seriously even the topic of the post is really rude and makes it sound personal.
Everyone is not going to get in Alpha - deal with it.
It was never said anywhere that SE would put people in some priority order who gets to alpha or not...
TBH, I think they should and whiners and self entitled crybabies like yourself op should be in the bottom of the list.
There is a little Monkey in all of us....
If you "know" that, why are you even posting about it?
Hold onto your Britches and wait for Beta, that's where the Bulk of the invites will take place, ( and that's probably where most of us actives will get in). Would you want us Actives to get into a not so good alpha... but then lose out on the chance of this Awesome Beta that is to come? Think about it.
The Op has a valid question. Though it could have been asked a bit more respectfully 3 pages of "Q Q more OP!" is equally rude. Yes I know your tired of people whining about not getting in but it's not a excuse to put your troll hat on.
To the OP:
If it makes you feel better 7 yrs on ffxi didn't get me a beta or alpha into this game when it came out. I was a bit upset when it seemed my friends in xi who logged on once every 6 months seemed to get invited and I didn't but what happened is I "played" this game and all those XI friends who tried the alpha and beta were so turned off by them they wouldn't give it a chance when it came out. So maybe, I was the lucky one.
Second side note
I do feel its dumb to give betas to quit players vs actives if that's true. The majority of unactives I know not only didn't want to play anymore they wanted to play something else. F- their invites, they can stay where ever they ended up imo.

Ah, but will facing north-by-northeast at 2:45 a.m. while the moon is a waning crescent result in a 27% increase in your chances to synthesize HQ mythril ingots!? That is real the question! ~Fernehalwes~
