    if you want something, you don't put in writing a rule that conflicts with it. It's that simple. Whatever he wants doesn't change the fact that Square Enix put in writing a rule that reserved application to the alpha to paying customers. Which makes it obvious that paying customers aren't happy to see that rule not honored.

    They can't sign up cause they can't play the game but he wants them in anyway so the non active players could give feedback. I still don't see whats so hard to understand about that. You only needed an Active FF XIV account to APPLY not get in.
    You may want to reassess the situation, because you are obviously oblivious of the facts, and writing without knowing what you're writing about doesn't help your argument. Inactive accounts are able to apply to the alpha and they have been for a while (while initially they weren't) and that's why they're getting selected. People tried. It works.
