Yoshi-p said they be giving us the download before the game goes live i remember seeing it somewhere to give us enough time to download.

lost your disk if you use a torrent dont see a problem. you already have the account not like your getting it for free.

If SE were smart, they would set it up as a torrent. That's what 1.0's launcher/updater was anyway, but it was very poorly made and they didn't keep a lot of seed boxes of their own.

or make a copy of the disk and store it on a USB and keep it save simple really

Why not just use the autopatcher to install 2.0 as if it was a patch, and if you somehow lose your date you then just reinstall 1.0 and repatch it using the autopatcher....

Or how about they just give out a free client download, because it's almost 2013 and digital distribution on games and MMOs has been a thing since like 2006.

I'm not a computer person and have never downloaded a game that did come from a disk. I was wondering if we have to uninstall the old game first? I have heard some people have already uninstalled the game but haven't done it yet. I know the new game is pretty much new but I keep thinking I need the old one?
